koocha that I would write more with this lovely pairing.]
You don't know what came over you the day when you kissed him.
You don't know what came over him either, because he kissed you back.
You had always considered him as straight as an arrow.
Funny, he said, because that was what he had thought, too.
You laughed, a little uneasily.
He smiled, and it was one of those rare, honest smiles of his.
And he looked at you, searched for your eyes, and you found that you couldn't look away.
Not that you really wanted to, though.
You stared at each other. Minutes, maybe hours.
Or maybe not hours.
Maybe your sense of time wasn't really working that day because really, who wants to stare at someone for hours?
Yeah, not even you, because even though his eyes are beautiful you know there are many other beautiful places in him, as well.
You always liked spending time just looking at him, any part of him.
But that moment you felt a little nervous.
Or maybe more than a little.
Why was he so silent?
You resisted the urge to start fidgeting under his stare.
You didn't want to look like you were nervous though that was what you were.
You just didn't want him to see it.
Though maybe you knew that he already did.
He had always been able to read you like an open book.
People always say that Die was like that, easily seen through.
And maybe he was.
But for him you had always been easy to read, no matter how much you wanted to try and change the fact.
Some things just are like that.
Unchangeable.
In your mind you hoped that the situation between the two of you wasn't, though.
He stepped closer to you, and you looked at his eyes, searching for something that would show you what he felt.
Shaking his head a little - amused, you noticed - he patted your head.
He was still smiling.
Was it a sign, you wondered briefly, and then...
He kissed you again, a short peck on the lips.
You could feel a smile forming on your own lips at that.
Maybe, he said, you would do.
That was the moment when you realised that some things weren't that unchangeable after all.
