Synopsis: Toshiya looks exactly like their cat while she's having the perfect nap in that perfected position only she has the right to use; all sprawled out, long limbs stretched in every direction and that content smirk/smile playing on the corners of his lips, Kaoru notes while he himself sits there on the bed with the guitar in his lap; sits and instead of playing just watches Toshiya.

Toshiya looks exactly like their cat while she's having the perfect nap in that perfected position only she has the right to use; all sprawled out, long limbs stretched in every direction and that content smirk/smile playing on the corners of his lips, Kaoru notes while he himself sits there on the bed with the guitar in his lap; sits and instead of playing just watches Toshiya.
"I can feel you staring, you know," a sudden voice breaks the serene atmosphere of the room, Toshiya's expression morphing into a full-fledged smirk, and Kaoru blinks then smiles.
"I like staring at you."
It is an honest admittance, and Toshiya takes it as one.
"I know. How could I not..." he chuckles then opens his eyes and yawns. "You haven't been playing anything for the past, what, twenty minutes at least."
Kaoru shrugs. "Had something more interesting to do," he simply says. And it is true, the only thing that can possibly tear him away from his precious guitar, anytime and anywhere, is his lover - even when he isn't trying.
And Toshiya knows that; knows, and takes full advantage of it.
Toshiya chuckles again. "Well, this has been fun and all, but I think that I'll still continue with my nap. You can of course join me if you like... that, or feel free to play me a nice lullaby," he says, eyes sparkling, then fixes his position - and welcomes the cat into his arms while he's at it - and closes his eyes again.
Kaoru plays a lullaby to his lover because he is nice like that, and because Toshiya's wish is his command.
And because afternoon naps are a perfect way to spend the time, he puts his guitar away afterwards and lies down next to Toshiya and the cat, gathering both in his arms and kissing the top of Toshiya's head before joining his two lovelies in slumber.
